The Club @ Bukit Utama (Bukti Utama Clubhouse)

My first turun padang was Bukit Utama 9 holes golf course. It was just a simple small building back then and the green fee was relatively cheap. Although it was the public golf course I find that is club was not popular maybe it was 9 holes golf course. The fairway was quite tight and it is quite challenging as you find that there are quite a number of condos built within the golf course.

Anyway, as it was my first time I do not have any other know golf course to compare so back then I find playing at Bukit Utama was very enjoing whenever I can find time.

Now, I revisit that place...finding the course was about the same except it is much more well maintained.

This club is situated right in Pelangi Damansara, Kota Damansara. Very near the Curve.

I find the newly upgraded The Club @ Bukit Utama is very much suitable for family creational activities. The club was completed with the sport facilities – squash, tennis, badminton and gym. It also comes with 50 m Olympic size swimming pool and also small pool ala Water Park.

PDRM Tasik Titiwangsa

It's a valentine day and wish all a happy valentine!!

What a treat..I find myself playing at Tasika Titiwangsa for the first time. Thanks to my friend Anuar Osman who recomended this place. Although it is a 9 holes golf course, I found that this place was very well maintained. The golf course is surrounded by the city skyline..you can really feel that you are right in the city and playing golf!!!

Saturday 14Feb09 – PDRM Tasik Titiwangsa

I was made to understand that Kinrara Golf booking thru’ SSG was temporary stop until next month 01Mar09. Monterez and Danau will be closed over these weekends to make way for the golf tournament. Most of the golf clubs around KV were fully booked this time around and making harder to do a booking. (Alternative, go to driving range)

To make matter worst, Kundang Lake telephone lines broken down over the past 2 days – which explained hearing ringing tone that was left unanswered. Now the phone line is in order. Contact Number: 03-6034 2725

Malaysia Open now is at Saujana from Thursday (12Feb09) to Sunday (15Feb09) – great if you can make it there – to see the great players playing before you.

My golf courses review

I will be playing this Sat (24/1) at Kundang Lakes (got 2 flight) and on Sunday (25/1) kat Bukit Kemuning (1 flight). It will be my first time going to Bukit Kemuning! Nak tenguk tempat - best atau xbest. Kalau bagus boleh jadi kan nya port.

There is so much positive feedback from those who have been playing there. May be the downside was that the trees there are still young trees, so it is more "hotter" playing there, but the upside is that you may be kept "cool" by those pretty caddie pampering you? (Allahuhalam).

Monterez and Beringin

Saturday 17Jan09, tee off at 9.00 am at Monterez Golf Club. I always insist to tee off at the first nine i.e., hole no 1 then starting the game from back nine.

Hole no 10, there is a water hazard i.e., quite a large lake that you need to clear at least 160 meters. You cannot afford to fumble or mishit otherwise the ball will seek the water instead. So I think the best to start your game is from the first nine hole in order to give you a little more confident and by the time you reach hole no 10 your body has already warmed up.

Only 3 balls as the other friend could not make it. The players were Mohammad, Kassim and Sammuri.

Lembah Beringin

Sunday - 18Jan09. Venue: SSG Lembah Beringin. We tee off at 8.30am, after completed 18 holes, we break for lunch. After a short rest, we continue to play another 18 holes. It is an endurance to test your fitness.

The "crazy" players were:
