Kundang Lakes and Country Club, Friday 06Mar2010 - Tee Off @ 1:30pm
I have organised 2 flights to play at Kundang (used to be my regular place).
You would have notice that recently there has been a hike in green fees again for 2010 in various clubs like Kemuning and Tasik Puteri.
So far, Kundang Lakes has been very reasonable in charging RM40 for SSG/AGN card and RM44 for the rest of the cards. I hope the charges will remain at this rate. Players that I met, couldn't complained more...what else can you expect by paying RM40 you get bermuda fairways?
I am pleased to see that the bunker has improved a little. And now they got caddies to pamper you too. My wish is that the management of Kundang Lakes will consider to improve their greens. Not need to make a drastic changes but gradual will do. Good green is what most golfers excited about.
Players playing this Saturday are:
As for those who read my blog and wish to participate in the casual golf game please do let me know. Never try never know - this was how our golf kaki grew.
I also will welcome female golfers - this will add a little of excitement and fun.

Handicap card
Have you seen a buggy accident?
I have seen sometime back where buggy parked on the slope but did not properly engagged the brake, so it slide right into the ditch.
But this time I witnessed a buggy driven by golfer hitting a stationary car! Believe me this can happen to anyone who when already tired can loose concentration or may do silly mistakes.
This incident happened on 6th December 2009 at Kundang Lakes. Luckly the driver of the buggy had a minor injury.
So guys please be careful when handling any golf equipments okay. Golf ball high speed too, could be lethal. Just hope you are not the recipient of this mishap.
So enjoy your golf - play safe and be healthy.

Some golf courses were not attractive due to their own doings
My interest in playing golf at Kundang Lakes has grown less and less. Kundang's fairway were quite alright but not the green which was poorly maintained, despite they has grown some degree of popularity when they replaced turfmate with buggy.
The thought of me going all the way to Lembah Beringin also has waned down due to the 50% increase of green fees for SSG Pemier card holders. The dreaded distance of 70 km drive plus toll charges and higher green fees charges by SSG Lembah Berining management made Lembah Beringin my lowest choice for now.
We golfers must make our thought known to them (the golf club management). If we feel the increases of green fees is unacceptable, we should move away and find other alternative venue.
Regards,
